About Reach Gather Grow in Colossians
In Matthew 28:19-20, Jesus commands the mission for the church, “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” Some of Jesus’ last words on Earth were for His followers to spread the Gospel, gather together for worship, and grow together in spiritual maturity.
In the book of Colossians, Paul follows these same guidelines as he directs the church in Colossae to Reach, Gather, and Grow. It is challenging and at the same time comforting to see the several examples in Colossians of how Paul strives to implement Jesus' mission for His church.
“Colossians” contains five study guides for personal or group discussion and thirty devotions for further insight. “Colossians” will remind you of the importance of your role as part of the church and will help you view the book of Colossians from a new and fresh perspective.
