Welcome to Pastors Academy

The River Church believes that the local church should be training up men for the work of the pastorate. The Pastors Academy at The River Church came out of Spurgeon’s vision of training young men for the call of Pastoring (The Pastor’s College). Although this program includes academic studies, Pastors Academy is focused on training pastors in a practical and “hands-on” approach to preaching, teaching, and serving our community. Therefore, Pastors Academy is training men who feel called to ministry that is apparent, approved, and appointed by a Location Pastor of The River Church.
