Ways to Give

Here are a few simple ways to support ministry through The River Church.

Simply click the link below and log in to our partner, Planning Center Online. If you don’t have an account yet, please create one and it will securely save all of your information, as well as allow you to setup recurring payments, and update your family information in our system.

Give In Person

Giving is always a part of our gatherings each weekend. We believe that giving sacrificially is an act of worship, so we encourage you to give during a Gathering. You can also stop by our office (8393 E. Holly Rd. Holly, MI 48442) during the week.

Give Via Text

Giving is now as simple as sending us a text message! Simply send a text to 84321 and you will receive instructions to set it up, then you just text the amount you wish to give to that same number.

Give Automatically

An easy way to give to The River is by setting up an automatic bill-pay through your bank. If you’d like to mail a check, please send it to The River Church, 8393 E. Holly Rd. Holly, MI 48442. Please do not send cash through the U.S. Postal Service.

Facility Care
$250,000

We love that our buildings are increasingly being used for a variety of ministry opportunities! That being said, we have seen an increase in expenses required to keep our buildings open and functioning. While we have routine maintenance budgeted in our spending plan, we anticipate a rising need for building upkeep. Additional funds in this area would allow us to be proactive and not delay necessary projects. In addition, these funds will be used to accomplish larger projects that arise at any of The River Church locations.

Staff Care
$100,000

Our elders understand both the privilege and the burden of leading a staff and their need to support their families. One of our priorities in planning our budget is to give our staff a cost of living raise every year. Working toward a balanced budget for 2025, we were only able to give a partial increase. With these funds we would like to complete that raise in June, as well as supply our teams with additional resources to continue growing in their areas of ministry. This will include conferences, study materials, and staff retreats so that we can continue pouring into them.

Local Missions
$250,000

We are blessed to be able to support missions both globally and locally. At The River Church we have three financial categories in which locations fall under. Each location is either Supported, Self-Supported or Supporting. This means that some of our locations are supported by other locations. We believe this is a good thing, and that supporting those locations is part of our local mission. The ability to support allows us to give and share resources so that our mission of reaching the world, gathering with the saints, and growing in the Word can be accomplished in these communities. We currently see this need rising and funds contributed to this area will be used to help continue funding those locations in need of additional support.

The Power of 3

In February of 2019, we received an envelope from Daniel, an inmate at the Marion Correction Institution in Ohio. Inside was a check made out to The River Church for $3. Daniel, had been impacted by our ministry and believed in the work God is doing in and through The River Church. So much so, that he continued to donate his $3 paycheck regularly, his way helping the church reach as many people as we can with the gospel. We were so blessed by his gift and his belief in the work of the Lord, the Power of 3 was born. The Power of 3 is a campaign designed to watch God multiply Daniel’s $3. Similar to the story of The Widow’s Offering in Mark 12, it is not the amount given, it is the heart behind it.

 Parking Lot
Goal: $50,000

As we continue to invite our friends, family, and community into the space the Lord has blessed us with, it is our job to be diligent in keeping up with proper maintenance. We all know that our parking lot could use a little TLC; that being said our current Power of 3 goal is to repave portions of our parking lot.

Building Improvements
Goal: $125,000

We want our facilities to be a welcoming space for our community to come worship and hear the Gospel. Our current Power of 3 goal is to focus on updating the exterior of the building God has blessed us with. (Siding, aesthetics, etc.)

Facility Improvements
Goal: $25,000

We strive to provide a welcoming place for guests and attendees as we gather together to worship and share the Gospel. Our current Power of 3 goal is for general facility improvements, including flooring, a working lawn mower, parking lot lights, etc.

Parking Lot
Goal: $500,000

We have been blessed with a wonderful space and opportunity to love and care for our community. Our current Power of 3 project includes fixing our parking lot!

Grand Blanc

Building Improvements
Goal: $100,000

God continues to grow our Grand Blanc location and it is been such a blessing to be a part of! As good stewards of the building the Lord has blessed us with, we need to make several improvements to the facility. At the completion of this Power of 3 project we'd like to re-do the exterior of the building, and replace the interior carpet, among several other smaller projects to enhance our gathering space.

Gym Add-Ons
Goal: $75,000

The Lord has blessed us with an incredible and unique space to love and care for our community! As we continue our efforts to reach the world with the Gospel, we'd like to update and add to the gym. Our Power of 3 project will go toward adding bathrooms, as well as a concession stand and kitchenette.

Elevator
Goal: $250,000

As we strive to share the Gospel with as many as we can, it is important that our facility is easily accessible to all people. As we continue the update of our building, we are in need of an elevator. The current ballpark estimate for an elevator and installation for our building is $250,000.

Building Updates
Goal: $125,000

We are excited to continue updating our building and creating a welcoming and friendly place for the Gospel to be shared! Our current Power of 3 project includes replacing the roof over the gymnasium, new carpet throughout the first floor hallways, and updates to our front entrance steps.
