About: “Family Bonds: Reflections of the Gospel in the Book of Ruth”
We often see families through snapshots on social media, passing in public, or encountering them at a church gathering and we think to ourselves, “That is a family goal.” We make snap decisions based on the external view we have. In reality, the family that is viewed as the “goal” has gone through similar ups and downs, moments of disappointment, and stressful situations that we encounter in our families.
For four weeks, we will be studying four family goals found in the book of Ruth. We will read and discuss how, despite the hardships Ruth and Naomi faced, God repaired their broken family. We will see a unique family bond that reflects the Gospel to one another and to the world. That is the realfamily goal.
“Family Bonds” consists of four study guides and 24 devotions based on the book of Ruth. “Family Bonds” centers on reflections of the Gospel through family relationships. These insights can be applied to your past, present, and future biological and spiritual families.
