We are blessed with the opportunity to share the love of Christ each Thanksgiving at the Genesee County Jail. There are multiple ways you can be involved too!
Serve at Genesee County Jail on Thanksgiving Day
Volunteers are needed to come sit, pray, and share the Gospel with the men and women of the Genesee County Jail on Thanksgiving day.
Buy & Cook a Turkey and/or Bake a Pie
Part of our visit is providing Thanksgiving dinner to all Genesee County Jail inmates. When you buy and cook a turkey it is received with much thanks and appreciation, and provides us another way to connect and share Christ’s love. Inmates are not the only ones we’re sharing the Gospel with, but the staff and deputies too! Bake a pie for Genesee County Deputies as an act of kindness and sharing God’s love. (You may provide more than one cooked turkey and/or bake more than one pie.)
Financial Donations
Additional donations allow us to provide yummy add ons to our turkey dinner: dinner rolls, butter, gravy, etc. You can choose between $10, $50, and $100 increments.
